Recently Ben Galbraith and Dion Almaer (of Ajaxian.com and Bespin fame) joined Palm to lead developer relations. They faced their first crisis with Jamie Zawinski’s well-publicized complaint about Palm’s app approval process. Ben has posted an early response to the community on his blog.

It looks as if Palm has settled into a routine of updating the App Catalog on Thursday. This Thursday brings ten new apps. Several of these new apps are graduates of the PreCentral’s Homebrew App Gallery. Included this week is the third-party Google Voice app gDial Pro.
